See what your friends and neighbors have to say about this.

I would say A or C. B makes no sense to have the arena not adjacent to the Convention Center. There would certainly be events that could utilize both properties at once, so why not have them beside each other? Not sure I liked the placement of the hotel in D as well as in the others.

I’m leaning towards option C. I like that it is rather compact and directly adjacent to the existing Haymarket. I see it as the most likely choice to encourage use of the Haymarket area by hotel/Conv. center/arena patrons.

I like C the best I agree that it is the most open to the hay market and would encourage the use of it.  I don;t like D because I think the Baseball field and the arena should be closer.

A & C appear to combine the hotel & convention center in a move that is great if it goes well, (I’ve enjoyed staying “on-site” for conferences at places in the past) but ties the fates of a public and private entitity awfully closely. Not sure about that.

B appeals most in layout of the plaza and streets. It separates the arena & hotel quite a bit though. If the arena will end up being mostly for locals driving in, no problem - parking is right at the front door. If the intent is to draw money in from outside of Lincoln, the arena should be closer to the hotel.

D puts the arena too far from the parking

I like A & B the best for different reasons.

I lean towards B.

I like A cuz it looks like a space port.  Our alien overlords could easily land in the plaza area.  Also I like the hotel being closer to O street and the arena being far from O street.

I don’t know what a earthform is, but I know we really need them to attract medical supply conventions, so B is not a viable option.

No matter what I bet traffic is gonna be a bummer and not enough parking.  For husker games folks already park in front of my house and make tinkles on my flowers.

I’m confused about the movement of traffic in and out as well. FYI, an open house regarding the West Haymarket Arena takes place at either 11-1 or 5-7, choose your time, on Oct. 18 at Pershing.
