Has the oddly-spelled Phreddy's Phillys [sic] gone kerplunk already? When I passed by over the lunch hour it looked decidedly un-open. Then again, I only caught a glimpse as the car drove by, so maybe I didn't see correctly. Have any of the rest of you Downtown regulars been by there recently?

That would suck! I’m supposed to have lunch there with a buddy tomorrow. I’ll let you know unless someone does some reconnaissance today.

The Thai House is closed. I have no details, but my lunch outing today has to be re-worked. I’ll drive by Phreddy’s while I’m out and let you know what I see.

Drove by Phreddy’s today and it was definitely open for lunch.
My friend prematurely reported on the closing of the Thai House. It was indeed open, just not when he got there at 11:15. When I drove by at 11:40 it was open for business.
We had already made alternate plans to eat at the Golden Wok and it was packed. Had the Front Page special for $4.95. Incredible lunch deal and good food. Not as good as the Thai House, but still good.
Sorry about the confusion. I’m just happy the Thai House is still open!
