I hope you didn't plan to cross the Harris Overpass into or out of Downtown today. Or tomorrow. Or any time until about a year from now...

If they forgot to build the bridge after tearing the old one down, I would not complain.

Just a thought here…...Has ANYONE addressed this fact????
With the new blighted area recognition and the possibility of a new arena in the area. There has been talk of “re-locating” the railroad tracks. Relocating to where???? If they ARE moved wouldn’t there be a need for a “new” overpass somewhere else?
It seems that not a lot of thought has gone into this. And the “powers that be” have jumped in feet first without looking at the long term.
I am in agreement that Harris Overpass does need to be rebuilt. I will NOT argue that point. But it seems to me that the ful situation has not been looked into all that clearly.

They’d move the easternmost set of tracks about a block west of where they currently are, which is (and will still be) under the overpass.
