Looking for a volunteer gig, and the opportunity to learn a few things to boot? If so, check out the volunteer opportunities at the Nebraska State Historical Society. For example, the annual docent training series at the Nebraska History Museum runs from October through January. If there were thirty hours in the day I'd be all over that, but for now it'll have to wait.
