LPD Jumps Into the Fire
LPD has entered the fire truck fiasco. Good for them. I’m not so much looking for somebody’s head as I am thirsty for more information. A criminal probe should help answer questions about what went wrong. In particular I would really like to know if ex-Fire Chief Mike Spadt is a crook or just a moron. (I know a lot of you think the answer is both!) Here’s hoping officials keep the probe open and honest.

If you’ve been reading the journal star, you’ve only got half the story.. I think all the people in Lincoln need to realize that we have a very biased newspaper.
Also, I think Seng is the moron here.

Mike Spadt is great friends with the owner of EDM. I think there is financial incentive to Spadt for granting of the contracts (note contracts, not just the engines but the ambulances also) I think he is a crook and the investigation will show it, if LPD does not sweep it under the rug. Hey LFR did we not back Seng, I guess you get what you pay for. We should stay in the bussiness of helping people we do that well and get out of politics. Bring back Merwick he treated us well as a chief.
