How Do You Like Your Oso?
I recently had my best burrito ever at Oso Burrito, and it got me to thinking about all the different types of burritos I like to order there. My dad and I—and often The Missus, Robbie, and sometimes a guest or two—hit up Oso once a week, usually on Tuesdays. I used to order the same thing every week: the jerk chicken special. Now, though, I mix things up, alternating between fish, chicken, and potato. Here’s how I had them make my favorite burrito yet:
- fish
- guacamole
- rice
- black beans
- lettuce
- cheese
- chipotle crema
- pico
- ginger garlic salsa
I’m telling you, it’s concentrated awesomeness in a tortilla.

NO PICO!!!!!
I rarely venture from that. Fish tacos are awesome though. Once again NO PICO!!!!!.
Yet I end up with pico on my burrito often. Just cant do raw onion.

I intend to try the ginger garlic salsa now and a friend swears by the potato burrito.

I LOVE fish tacos/burritos and OSO has the best in Nebraska. I like the:
Fish burrito
- traditional dress
- garlic ginger salsa
and a bag of chips.
The garlic ginger salsa there is my favorite salsa I’ve ever eaten.
The carnitas burrito at Chipotle is my favorite burrito on earth, but overall I prefer OSO. There are a lot of great items on their menu, and I enjoy supporting a local business.

I beg to differ! California Taco in Omaha has the best fish taco in the state.

Perhaps -I have never been to California Taco. Where is it in Omaha? I’ll have to try it sometime!
