I think that is awesome. In another life, I wish I were a radio host. If I ever strike it rich and can pursue anything for a living - that’s what I would do. Good for you!

You were excellent this morning.
Too bad I can’t say the same for the rest of that program. Why was DMB worrying about Pelini being unhappy just because Urban Meyer got a raise? Pelini hasn’t even begun his second year of head coaching and DMB was spewing about losing him to Ohio State, if and when Tressel retires in the next ten years??
Now I know why I don’t listen regularly to that program.

I can see maybe being a little concerned, but who’s to say that Ohio State will even want Bo Pelini? Urban Meyer has won two national championships, which is one more than anyone in the Big 12 has won or will win anytime soon.

Woah woah woah. I didn’t say Pelini should be/was/is unhappy because Urban Meyer got a raise. I made the point that Pelini is the 8th highest paid coach in the league right now and John made the point that in between Pelini and Urban there is a LOT of money. You can’t ignore that Pelini is a hot young coach who has the potential to do great things at Nebraska. Who’s to say if Nebraska doesn’t pony up the money IN THE FUTURE that Pelini doesn’t bolt for a bigger pay day? Who’s to say he doesn’t bolt because its his home state? Hell Dave Van Horn did it, you see it all the time in athletics. Coaches “going home” taking jobs at their home universities that needed them.
And one more thing, don’t not listen to Jack and John’s show because this no-talent hack was on there ONE DAY out of the year. Its a good and entertaining show. Don’t let my two hour performance on the air sour your thoughts about the show.

For a variety of reasons.
How does one get from Urban Meyer getting a raise after winning national championships to Jim Tressel retiring to Bo Pelini going to Ohio State? The jumps in logic are too big for my little brain.
But it isn’t just you. Where does John get off calling Vince Powers a party hack? Too many people think this talk radio thing is about serious discussion. It is just about selling advertising and calling it entertainment.
