Admit it, a bunch of you spent a lot of time mingling with crowds this weekend. Raise your hands: How many of you went to Lowe's? How about the Extreme Makeover house?

I’ll probably stop by Lowe’s sometime just because I enjoy browsing through that type of store. I hear they’re a bit pricey, though, compared to Menard’s.
As far as the Extreme Makeover, from what I’ve seen of the house and yard, I’m just glad it’s not my house. Frankly, I’m not impressed with it. Not my style at all.

I checked out Lowe’s on Saturday but it was such a crush that I turned right around. Went back last night for a nice leisurely walk-through. I expected to find better prices too.
I skipped the Extreme Makeover, just because I knew it would be packed. Looks like a nice place though.

Lowe’s seems to have better clearance prices than Menards and Home Depot, so I’m glad there’s one opening in town. I always hit the Lowe’s by my parents house in Omaha and usually find a great deal on something.
That said, I make it to Omaha much more often than I make it to that side of town.
