Burger King is constructing a new building near Kohl's at 84th and O. That got me thinking about how many Burger Kings there are in Lincoln (ten). And that, in turn, got me thinking about how many of various other restaurants are around town. Without resorting to cheating, do you know how many of each of the following restaurants there are in Lincoln?
Amigos
Valentino's
Taco Inn

D'Leon's

To expand on that, I say yes because that’s basically all that Valentino’s is these days. The dine-in locations are veritable relics that still exist if only for historical reasons. It’s a darn shame, and for that I blame Valentino’s itself. But that’s a rant for another day 😊

These are my guesses, without googling or looking at a phone book:
And some of these are fairly wild guesses. I gave myself 4 minutes to produce that list. The tricky one would be Subway, which must number in the 17-20 realm.

I may have bored you all with this trivia once before. I spent a day with Subway founder Fred DeLuca sometime in 1988 or so. He said their market research was simple: Find out which restaurant in a given city had the most locations. At a minimum, Subway would seek to surpass that number by at least 1.

Yes.
