Bridge to Nowhere

Oh sure, William Ramsey supports the interchange at Pflug Road now. But what about when McDonald’s and Dr. John’s want to move in next door? I suspect he would change his tune.

Frankly, Mr. Ramsey, I think you’re better off arguing to keep the area around Holy Family Shrine as desolate as possible.

I couldn’t agree with you more Mr. Wilson.  I kind of like that it’s hard to get to and it does prevent anything else that goes with an exit.  Now the fact there is not an exit for the Kearney bridge has to be one of the biggest mistakes in Nebraska history.  But leave the shrine back off the road.  If you need it, you will find a way to get there.

I would counter that the Kearney “monument” is one of the biggest mistakes in Nebraska history. Further proof that the adage “if you build it, they will come” is not always true.

He should just stick with giving financial advice on his radio show.
