A Riddle
Inner thoughts upon my face,
Upon the wind I try to flee.
If a Gadsden flag had I,
It would read “Don’t Write on Me!”
What am I?

Torn Notebook?
Mr. Wilson July 27, 2006 at 11:05pm
Ding ding ding! We have a winner! The answer is Torn Notebook. Good job, foxspit!
The artist kept his “inner thoughts” in his notebook, which was one of the piece’s inspirations. The sculpture looks like pages blowing in the wind. And the “Don’t Write on Me!” part comes from the idea that even though the piece resembles a notebook, you aren’t supposed to actually write on it.
Didn’t like this riddle? Hey, it was my first stab at one. I never claimed it was any good. I’ll have another one for you tomorrow.

Great riddle! Too bad I needed a clue to solve it. I love that it had a local touch!
Mr. Wilson July 28, 2006 at 1:02pm
Heh, glad y’all liked it. I’ve never been much of a riddler, but a couple started popping into my head yesterday so I figured I’d see what others thought. Maybe this will become a regular feature.
