A Missed Opportunity?
Did the Lincoln Board of Education miss an opportunity to earn some new respect from Lincoln’s taxpayers when it unanimously voted to approve a 5.7% larger budget at a time when the City is facing a $1.5 million (formerly $6 million) shortfall? I don’t know the answer to that, though I do suspect that the road for the next school bond issue—whenever it comes—just got a little bumpier.
At least LPS scores well with parents.
