A Lentil Burrito to Go, Please

This is a gag, right? "Authentic Kurdish and Mexican cuisine"? Seriously? Maybe there's a Middle Eastern / Central American fusion movement out there I'm not aware of. After all if Greek-Mexican fusion works, why not Kurdish-Mexican?

Surely this is the brainchild of Babu Bhatt from the Seinfeld show…

Keep in mind that we already have a Central American and Middle Eastern place already in Jerusalen’s Bakery, east of downtown. I try and go there now and then. Its not for everyone, but I like the mom and pop feel and I think a lot of the items are made freshly. The Chicken Pepian is pretty good there.

The owner of the that restaurant has figured the taste buds of people in Lincoln. Mexican food fusion with anything is more likely to be successful. I’ve never had Kurdish food before, so this sounds somewhat interesting to me.
