See what your friends and neighbors have to say about this.
Will you be sleeping outside of the great state of Nebraska?
Are you going to Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark in KC?
No.
No.
I wish I was!
That was my 1st thought too 😊
No.
Will you be camping?
Will you be staying in a “cabin”?
Yes.
Will you be north of Interstate 80?
Yes.
Are you going to Two Rivers State Park and stay in a Union Pacific caboose?
No.
That was my first thought. That’s why i asked if it was in or out of Nebraska.
As fate has it, I am going there next week. I hope it’s awesome.
Will you be at a State Park?
Yes.
Will you remain in the central time zone?
Good question!!
If the answer winds up being canoeing/tubing the Niobrara, I will be bummed. I had to cancel my Niobrara trip this weekend!
*Not a guess*
Eugene Mahoney State Park has plenty of nice cabins and is north of I-80.
Do it Gene! Ask!!!!!
No.
Don’t do it now…...
Will you be west of North Platte?
Will the State Park be a Nebraska State Park?
Yes.
As opposed to a State Recreation Area
Yes.
Will you be west of Highway 2/71?
Yes*.
* I interpreted “west of Highway 2/71” to be roughly the encircled area shown here.
Chadron State Park and Ponca State Park both have cabin areas, I believe.
Will you be at Fort Robinson State Park?
Yes.
But we aren’t done yet!
Not an official question, but a clarification question: Do we need to be more specific as to where you are sleeping (i.e. the type of cabin)?
@Fletch: With the number of questions left I think you should be able to figure out the “address”—i.e. unit number, room number, campsite number, etc.—of where I will be sleeping. Knowing you guys, with 8 questions left you will probably be able to figure out which direction my head will point!
I figured as much.
Will you be in a “Lodge Room”?
Are you in the upper Cabin Loop?
Yes.
No.
Crap. If it has to do with a park, West A Dad will get it every time. I wouldn’t know a good follow up question. LOL
Will you be in an “Adobe” cabin?
LOL with Fletch!
Yes.
That was my last sub question that i was thinking too.
Are you in Adobe cabin five, six or seven?
Yes.
Are you in a “B” cabin?
Are you in Cabin 5?
No.
That was question #18, by the way. Only two more questions left!
No.
Are you in cabin 6A or 7A?
Those are nice looking “cabins”. I haven’t been to Ft. Robinson since 1972.
Yes. But which one? Only one question left!
West A, shame on you ... had you asked for 6 and he said NO, you would have known it was 7, or vice versa. Now we are at a coin toss for question 20.
HOWEVER, in fairness, I think question 2 should be discounted as it was clearly asked in error after question one. So we should still have 2 to go.
Are you in 7A?
Bingo! When in doubt, always go with 7. Good work West A Dad, and everybody else! I’ll have to bring you back a souvenir.
I like to live dangerously!
By the way, my “shame on you” is all in love and fun, brother!
On a completely unrelated note, does this look like an impact crater to anybody else? It sits just outside the park.
6A was only reserved for Wednesday night, I figured you’d stay for more than one.
Well done, West A
Another group effort! Well done by all who played!
It does look like a crater. Meteor or explosive, I don’t know.
Have a good safe trip Mr. Wilson!
My guess is that it’s a windmill/water trough with lots of cattle trails leading to it.
Have a good trip
